Just be sure to have a character talk to the NPC you intend to steal from to prevent them moving or noticing the theft until you're safely away. Pickpocketing is an Ability in Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition. Griffs orange ( spoiler inside ) SO im doing playthrough with red prince as main, go talk to dreamer, he consumed drundae from orange, fine progress, then I switch to sebille and kill the dreamer, switch back to red prince and take the cut orange, so Im thinking, Im only level 2, griff is 3, so I guess I buy drundae from griff and then place it. You can still pickpocket a target multiple times if you use different characters to do so, as well as using hirable mercs after Act 1. Don't ever try to increase the stack size above what the game defaults to unless you intend to fail. ![]() Note that items that will exceed that limit darken in the inventory and stackables will automatically attempt to steal the maximum your skill will allow. I R click on target, and pickpocket option is a wine red colour and neither L or R click on that option does anything Cant take screenshots either (. Divinity: Original Sin 2 > General Discussions > Topic Details. (Its 1st tie Ive played divinity and and am using increased civil powers mod. Writing it for those who will be intersted as i was. I think the game is fine but your friend is bugged. They have nothing in their pockets (just checked it by myself), so disappointing Dont bother trying. because of the lack of 3 he sounds like hes kind of a, no offense. 3.Your friend SHOULD have communicated that he was doing this with you. If you attempt to steal anything above these limits the NPC will notice immediately and you'll be in a bit of trouble. What your friend is doing is a known method of stealing something, getting searched, and not getting caught. This also obviously limits the total gold you can steal to that of the value limit. So if you can only steal 3 pounds of gear and/or a total of 800 gold, you won't be able to steal a shield that weighs 5 or that staff that is valued at 900. Your Thievery skill determines the total weight of stolen items you can pick from your target as well as the total gold value of those items. Also note that you must not be seen by both the NPC you're pickpocketing and any other NPC in the area.Īs for the bars at the bottom, one indicates weight and the lower one indicates value. This generally means that you are better off holding back until you have nearly left a region before doing the pickpocketing in order to maximize your potential thievery skill and the rewards it'll offer you. So if you have already done so, you need a different character with thievery. ![]() It's really not worth seeking to disprove, just let threads like this stay dead.First off, you can only pickpocket an NPC once per character. Allows you to thieve in crowded areas as you are within the smoke cloud and npcs can’t see you. Well, the thread literally predates the release of the actual game and was originally discussing early access, and these are components of the game that have been changed in the four years since, in updates and/or the Definitive Edition overhaul. ![]() ![]() Buddy Buddy is a NPC in Divinity: Original Sin 2 (DOS2). I'll have to find a really old save file, probably near the beginning, and avoid killing him until after I've recruited Sebille and she interrogates him. Stingtail himself has the orange, Either kill him or pick pocket it from him. I just used a mod to boost it up to 10, maybe that'll work. And eating Zaleskar's withered heart as Sebille just gives me the 'sitting by a campfire whispering, as if in response to an unseen voice' message.Īnd talking to him does jack $hit, he just gives me the usual 'fleshy thing' response, and there's no special option for Sebille even with 5 Persuasion. No idea how it worked for you, but Griff's hand just gives me the 'better not try the stew' message, even when eating it as Sebille. Use your head (or theirs for that matter).
